SQL Server Deployment Checklist

- Correctly licensed i.e. which edition to install

- Fully patched

- Deploy Olla Hallengren

- Set databases to Simple or Full recovery model

- Set up Database Mail

- Enable the backups, set to email 

- Instance Config: Compress Backup and Backup Checksum

- MSDB Indexes
